DESIGN BUILD
PRO Construction, Inc. has a long history of performing turnkey projects under this method of project delivery. It is often the best approach for clients who know what they want up front. Its because the process of delivery is simplified. It also give the client the convenience of dealing with a single point of contact.
The owner’s request for services may contain reasonably solid design criteria or preliminary sketches only. In the latter case we’d use our own architect and engineering consultants to advance our design proposal. Price is fixed early in the process, although the owner may negotiate the price until design and pricing is finalized.
With this approach we're responsible for all phases of the building process. In fact, we're 100% responsible for building performance and materials long after project close-out, an advantage that gives the owner added security when embarking on a Design-Build contract.
Preconstruction

Under the best circumstances, building is a discovery process. It’s striking out for a destination that you create as you go. But the right contractor can be a skilled ally in advancing conceptual ideas and charting a realistic path to success. More often than not our clients ask us what a “cocktail napkin sketch” costs and we produce conceptual estimates with surprising detail.
As the design progresses, we may suggest changes that improve the end product and get us to the required budget without altering the designer’s original intent. The value of early insight really shines through when we discover gaps that could lead to budget or scheduling crises later. As our clients tell us, a PRO estimate may or may not be the lowest number, just the right one in the end. Our staff has the years of experience necessary for our clients to have total confidence in the information we provide. They know they can rely on it and “take it to the bank”.
GENERAL CONTRACTING

When price is king, project dynamics are less complex or corporate bylaws mandate work for hire just to be bid, General Contracting may be the owner’s preferred delivery approach. In certain markets, it’s standard. In these instances PRO is a tough competitor, and our experience and will to compete often win the job.
We bid on and commence general contracting work as it’s awarded to us when design is near completion. We hold all trade contracts and are responsible for delivering all work based on a lump sum or agreed price cap. This approach requires less day-to-day involvement on the owner’s side and assumes project variables are more clear-cut. However, at PRO, we take nothing for granted. During the bid process and beyond, we act as a confirmed partner who works tirelessly to fulfill the owner’s objectives. We consult with the project team and remain vigilant about balancing costs so we can deliver more of what you want in the finished product. That’s the ultimate value of choosing PRO as General Contractor.
POST CONSTRUCTION

As our client’s teammate, the relationship does not end upon completion of the project. Our clients know they have a partner they can count on who has been there for over forty years and that will continue to be there for forty more.
The Quality Assurance and Quality Control program utilized on every PRO project documents every aspect of a project’s construction, identifying and correcting potential long term performance issues. However, if an issue were to arise down the road, PRO is completely prepared, based on that documentation, to identify, evaluate and solve that problem quickly and efficiently.
